We need reinforcements! Some paras carrying ammo boxes, pulling in chutes, opening drop cannisters, wounded and dead and medics! The men at Arnhem need back up!^&grin

Hoping to see some more Brit paras this year as it's been a while! But to be honest, XXX Corps, Polish, Canadian, American or anything are welcome!^&grin:wink2:

Had a pic to add but forgot the camera, it's in the loft haha!

yep, they actually brought them in the Big gliders. (forget what they are called). In the After the Battle Book you can see some of the Bren Carriers in the Osterbeek Parimeter and some knocked out. The picture that stands out is the knocked out one.

plenty of scope to make some great releases. its about time some dutch buildings were released similar lines to the ongoing normandy village.

Cool link man. :)

braddinpa Who would drive the vehicles? Would it be paras with specially designated roles or just normal crew who would receive jump training?

Scott

Armour manned and operated by trained personnel of the 6th Airborne Reconnaissance Regiment and 1st Airborne Light Tank Squadron, Artillery by trained personnel of ist and 2nd (Oban), 3rd and 4th Air Landing Anti-tank Batteries of the Royal Artillery, Universal Carriers by qualified drivers (BC, i.e. Bren Carrier, brevet), within the respective Airlanding Brigades.
