That would mean there would be one in every corner of Oz! I wonder if there would ever be a family reunion.... ^&grin

Wow, that looks great...btw, are you using your Famo recovery vehicle to tow a Seehund? That is what I'm doing, and I've often wondered the possibility of a Seehund operating in the Mediterranean; thus opens new diorama venues, complete with DAK troops. I know this is beginning to veer off-topic, but would a Kriegsmariner wear khaki, much like their DAK counter-parts? Thanks, Ollie_D.

Thanks Ollie and no, im using my recovery vehicle in the Desert. The Afrika Corps had a few recovery vehicles and my vehicle is the second to be repainted by John. Another collector on the forum by the name of Howard (you might have seen his posts under northgate woods) got the first vehicle painted (pictures of it was also posted on the forum several threads back) and he told me about them being used by the AK's.

Not sure about the kriegsmariner wearing khaki, but i'll ask Howard the next time i talk to him and get back to you.

Cheers

Sounds great, Tom...I would appreciate if you could keep me updated with any information. I will see what I can dig up in the meantime, and post same if I run across anything. Notwithstanding, you have a wonderfully inspiring and beautiful piece! {bravo}}
Best regards, Ollie.

Thanks for the kind words about my repainting.... it all done by hand, and takes a few hours, due to the fine work needed around the tracks and wheels. Repainting from European cam to AK is easier, as the colour is similar, but grey to desert is much harder, like desert/europe to grey, which is anothe rproject I have for Wayne.

Keep a lookout posted for that job later thhis year...
