Decent and politician are not two words that I would phrase together. Democrats and republicans are two sides of the same political coin. A bad penny if you will. I would love to see some start over but I fear that as well.

I mean really, violent peace protestors? Ghandi and ML King are probably crying there eyes out. You will have to go further back than FDR for a good president. Try Teddy!

Sorry I just had to jump in. I hate politics. Remember divide and conquer? That is what the politicians are doing to us. Don't think so? Look at what we post here. Give me toy soldiers any day. They are at least stout hearted and unflinching in their duties.

I'm fair, I hate all politicians equally. My lifetime's version of Reblicans and Democrats are just that, politicians, not leaders. Not a decent one in the bunch on the national level. Rudy Guliani was the only decent politician in my experience.

Having grown up near New York City and having traveled to many of the

great Cities of the World I was shocked to see what New York had become

before Rudy G became mayor. When my daughter began to practice law and

live there and I began to re-visit the city during his tenure I was amazed to

see NYC transformed once again to one of the Worlds Great Citys.

You could walk about and shop with your family day or night, and be proud

that this would be a view of America many visitors would take home with

them to their countries. It was a remarkable improvement, and the courage

and leadership he displayed during 9/11 was just what the city needed.

Today many different men and women are willing to "Tell you what they can

Do" but Rudy if you agree with all his view or not has "Shown Us What He Will

Do" and that is something to consider.
