This is a great dio. Great figures, armor, scenery and the topper is the civilian standing in his yard and watching it all. -- Al

"wwiibuff":

Great photos of a real nice diorama!

"Iron Brigade"

Thanks IB.

Thanks.

Thanks Al. Glad you like it. The civilian is a Figarti figure standing in front of a First Legion house with WB fence. :smile2:

The scene really tells a story. And the fence and house make it look real.

Terry

Thanks for that Terry. I just got the First Legion house in recently and it is a nice piece. The WB fencing/gate I've had for some time, and is nice as well. I thought they went together very well. Thanks for the comment.

Looks like the boys are looking for trouble..............^&grin
Great pics again mate.

Very nice mix of sets! The scene is simple and great! One can even imagine it happening at the countryside near Kursk!{bravo}}

Thanks for the kind comments Wayne, Guy, Mitch, and Sentaapua.:)

Guy, the farmhouse is from First Legion and the fence is from W. Britains.

Very nice scene indeed Duke, good work as usual my friend. The Tank riders look really good on there^&cool

Good diorama. I like how you chose and arranged your figures. One point about K&C's SS figures. In the older grouped sets the uniforms were mix n match. Even the new individual pieces very often the uniforms on the individual soldier are mix n match. I like mix n match to a point however it would also be nice to see some UNIFORMITY on the uniforms especially the pea dot pattern from top to bottom! I noticed you chose figures from different sets whose uniforms were a little more....UNIFORM...and I like that. ^&cool

Nice work! I can almost hear the conversation between them!!!

Awesome work on the dio and the pictures.
mike

Thanks Mike.

Nice work! I can almost hear the conversation between them!!!

Thanks for mentioning that nbaer. That's one of the things I was trying to accomplish.:)

Thanks CFM. I did try and pick out some troops that had similar uniforms as you said. Good of you to notice. I also like it sometimes when the uniforms are more UNIFORM :) in the same scene together. One of my favorite WS sets is WS111 "Over There" where the uniforms are all the same.

Rob

Thanks for that Rob. I've made good use of those tank riders over the last couple of years.:smile2:
