SOON!!!! Will post a pic next to Gen.Bonaparte
Neil :salute::
Actually Neil, in the 8-9 years that I have been collecting "metal" ranges this is about as much fun as I have had, I do not worry about is this or that going to be retired this year, also the WWII ranges are in full bloom now, Stalingrad kicked it off but now we have Paras, SS, DAK, winter Russians/Germans just alot of neat sets to pick from.. I also have Treefrog treasures that have a great layaway plan I can put as much or as little each week to pay off my order.
So with that being said, it's just fun to figure out what to get and see what new stuff is coming out on the work bench, speaking of new stuff Matt and co. usually release some new goods before the Chicago show, so let's hope we see a newsletter in the near future...Sammy
P.S. Russian winter infantry on horseback!!
I'm having a hard time deciding what to purchase next?? I really need to get my winter Opel as it's been out there for awhile and would hate to see it retired before I bought it, same goes for the Stalingrad BMW/bike with riders, but then the new SS fellows are wispering in my ear also over in the corner the last few sets of winter Russians are calling me any advice First Legion collectors??...Sammy
Your so correct Xavier, so I put my order in for the winter Opel as I'm not going to miss out on this sweet ride, along with the new winter Russians the cold battle of the Eastern Front is starting to take shape...Sammy
Past the Red Lancers, the Austrians are my next favorite pieces. The standard bearer is outstanding. I myself is having a tough time staying in point. Whenever there are new releases. There has just been so many wants, right now. And if yhe Vietnam N.V.A. comes out I am doomed.
Don't forget Civil War! Something tells me we might see them in September!
Trying to resist getting into this series, at least until FL comes out with the Iron Brigade or 14th Brooklyn. With both units being in the 1st Corps and heavily engaged on the first day at Gettysburg, it's probably more a question of WHEN than IF.
