Any of you guys have a new dio planned?. (1 Viewer)

Rob,

I'm glad you brought this subject up about new dios planned! Let's get back to something more pleasant than most of last week's discussions.:)

For me, I've been considering a new FOB diorama with armor that I might try and put together in the next week or so.

Thanks Duke,

It just seemed like negative thread after negative thread, nice to celebrate the good stuff.:) Look forward to your FOB dio:cool:

Have a couple of projects on the go that centre around ruined buildings. Have just finished an old ruined church/chapel, which could be used for a number of dio's.;) Right now I've placed a few K&C Para's around it, with an old cart.

Also have a Normandy/Arnhem crossroads scene I'm very slowing gathering figures/vehicles for.......:D

My biggest problem is time, hopefully will get a chance over our Xmas Holidays, ....:p.

Will post pic's when finished, cheers all!

if I'm not at the beach catching waves.

You are a luck guy to be able to ride some waves, I have been out of shore for almost 20 years (born and lived in Brazil until move to Canada in 1991)

Love surf.

Finishing touches on my redoubt... Just starting a stockade... a gunboat... a stone F&I fort

Cheers mate, I can only imagine you must miss it heaps, having lived in Brazil.....with all those "lovely" beach babes too!;)

It must seem a strange concept for most northern hemisphere folks, having a BBQ Xmas dinner at the beach. But its our holiday period and most Kiwi's get at least 2/3 weeks off over Xmas & New Year. Its the same for our Aussi cousins as well.:p.

Faced with this its often hard to sit at home mucking about with TS's when the sun is shining.

In saying that, its often during the summer holiday's that I get a chance to pull my figures out and start coming up with display idea's and actually completing a dio.

I'm sure its the same for many others, especially those with young families?!:D
