Am I the only one, who owns this tank..I bought mine at the Valley Forge show...Must have been preproduction...BTW...I already glossed it ,to match the rest of my WW1 army..Michael

I admire you for daring to sin, for doing what you want, for altering the toy. Are you happy with the gloss result? And do you also have the Renault tank? Finally, how was the Valley Forge Show?

Also, for all of you reading this, I remember once seeing, on a dealer's site, a gloss WWI Renault tank. Has anyone else ever seen it, and if so, would you remember the maker? Russell

The Valley Forge Show is no longer, but I have the ONWTC Renault , which I also glossed over...There were gloss WWI tanks from Camp Randall mfg, as well as Britains, and Steadfast...Michael

I thought the Valley Forge Show was moved to Delaware? I went this past April and think they are having another one next year....

Just in case some folks of that different persuasion :rolleyes:didn't see it, here is another thread about Old Northwest's tanks.

Is the above some kind of elitist code- what different persuasion are you referring to ethnicity , race , religion, political preference or sexual habits ?

None of the above. There are some collectors who think that people on this Forum ignore or belittle a product that may be the same as K & C's because it is not as K & C. I was trying to point out that was not the case since some of us had in fact talked up the tanks being made by Old Northwest. It was a poor (very poor, actually) attempt at humor and if I offended anyone, you have my apologies.
