Anzac Day 2018 New Zealand and Australia remember their servicemen and women who gave their lives, not only in WW1 especially at Gallipoli, but in all other conflicts. Your service and sacrifice is not forgotten

It's certainly not forgotten, down under, with many commemoration services happening in towns and cities in both Australia and New Zealand.

Dawn Services were held across the two nations as well as in London, Villers-Bretonneux at the National War memorial where our Prime Minister, Price Charles and the French Prime Minister attended.
This was the place where, on 25th April 1918, the Australians recaptured and liberated the town from the Germans. It's been commemorated in that town ever since.

Yesterday morning, I marched with my old comrades in the Perth City ANZAC Day Parade, where the streets were lined with thousands of people cheering on the veterans and current serving members of the defence forces.

Lest We Forget

Atendances have been on the rise in NZ , some excellent commerations of the centenary of ww1 may have helped . Hopefully the world doesn't head down that path again .
