Another year, and today it's the 106th anniversary of ANZAC Day, the 25th April.
Here in Western Australia, we are in a 3 day lockdown, so all our commemoration services including street parades in the city had to be cancelled. as were some rural ones.
We were encouraged to do like last year, hold our own neighbourhood 'Driveway Dawn Services' so in our street about 30 neighbours gathered, 'socially distanced' all wearing masks, listed to the National Service form the Canberra War Memorial and observed out minute's silence to remember, Lest We Forget.
In the rest of the nation, and in NZ, I'm sure they will have commemorated with street parades, but still, that is the way it is these times.
Now it's morning tea time, so off to enjoy my ANZACS

ANZAC Biscuts that is !!!
