If FL does Imperial Rome then I will be joining the FL band wagon.
Me too, especially if the figures are on a par with the WWII releases!

I would prefer the Republic period, myself... Imperial Rome has been done many times already and is currently offered by East of India and it looks like Conte will be taking another stab at it...
Could it be The battle of Cannae? That would be something!!!
But Francisco, no legions, no Rome.Roman infantry no more
More Roman cavalry and chariots

But seriously, when are we going to get an announcement on a new line???

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches only go so far...
Good points all but I would suggest that the first one may be a bit of a flexible tendency. FWIW, I am not clamoring for another line either since I have more than my handful with the Napoleonic line. I thankfully have no interest in the WWII ground war but those Samurai are all ready too tempting. Part of me is already afraid it will envolve the Rome or the middle ages; I don't know if I could resist those done the way FL could do them. Must finish the Peninsula first.I guess what I wanted to convey are the following considerations:
In concluding: Whatever it is, it will be massive and require investments. Hence:
- Whatever era, it will be a conflict that is essential to military history and underrepresented in the toy soldier collecting hobby;
- The choice of figures/models representing the conflict will be near exhaustive.
- It will not get any cheaper, but the quality might further improve.

PS: Not exactly sure why people are clamoring for another line. At this point, there are so many FL models out there that I absolutely need, my wish list has taken on the size of the NY Metropolitan Area phone book. I trust it is those that collect neither WWII nor Samurai and Napoleonic. I was once one of those collectors, too ....

If it's anything post-1900, I am completely safe...
If it's FIW, I'm still safe as I am already committed to JJD for this range...
If it's ACW, I'm somewhat safe as I may only feel a need to purchase personality figures... I hope...
Better not be Romans or Middle Ages or I'm in big trouble!!!
I am already on the fence with the upcoming Samurai's... have one of the first ones produced already... it will be hard to resist a few more of these... I hope only a few...
If it's FIW I'm in deep s..t, all others I can resist.
