Armies of the Napoleonic Wars (2 Viewers)

Hi Guy,
Absolutely amazing work, I'm sure the new owner will be thrilled. thanks for sharing . best Gebhard

WAR OF SPAIN: battle of Albuera May 1811
So here is the full display of my diorama project on the Spanish Civil War
Before my designs cross the Atlantic (as Lafayette) to join their new owner.:)
Aside from the British and French troops represented on this dio, this staging "Hollywood" as usual is far removed from historical reality. I hope to be "forgiven" by the purists of the period.:eek:
Guy.:salute::

Fantastic dio! Looks very realistic.

thank you all for your positive comments on my display :eek:

BIVOUAC the village of Albuera in 1811 .... (more ....)
..... Having driven the enemy from the village, the installation of the bivouac is welcome to regain strength and make the care of the injured.
Again a very personal adaptation imagined to stage my toy soldiers
Best
Guy....:):salute::

Une autre création merveilleuse Je adore la fin de l'histoire, votre choix de chiffres à mettre en place la scène est magistrale. Bien sûr, les bâtiments faits à la main montre la quantité de talent que vous avez. juste magnifique

Another wonderful creation I love the story ending, your choice of figures to set up the scene is masterful. Of course the hand made buildings shows the amount of talent you have. Just beautiful ......best Gebhard

Comme toujours je suis d'accord avec mon ami Gebhard. :D Le magnifique travail.

DEATH OF MARSHAL LANNES - Aspern Essling in 1809
LANNES amputated left leg by Dominique Jean Larrey, the surgeon of the Guard. After four days, when the state marshal seems satisfactory, suggesting that he would survive the operation, LANNES is taken abruptly with fever and delirium. His condition worsened and no doctors present, could save him from gangrene expressed.
On May 29, Napoleon, extremely affected, will remain a half-hour to the bedside of his friend. Jean Lannes died on the night of May 30 to 31
Thought I use one last time my church as a backdrop before shipment ... :)
Best.

COUNTRY BELGIUM: Quatre Bras 16 June 1815

... 35 kilometers south of Brussels.

Hot and heavy time: beginning of the battle to 14 hours: noon NEY receives a telegram from the Emperor, authorizing them to fully dispose of the cavalry ..... Emperor added that with all these forces, the marshal must beat whatever comes from Brussels .....

(A new episode revisited and adapted for my miniature actors ..:) )

THE RETREAT FROM RUSSSIA 1812: THE EMPEROR MARSHAL NEY FOUND! :
Marshal Ney who received the title of Prince of Borodino (following the Battle of BORODINO, is separated from the main army. "Miracle" ..the November 20 (-28 degrees), Ney who avoided the encirclement, refused to surrender, fought outnumbered: ...... appears most soldiers were on foot during this terrible retreat, horses are becoming more and more rare as you. as the course .......

I just received these beauties: :wub: the pictures speak for themselves: these references are the most beautiful ever made by FL (my opinion)
Napoleon (Black Hawk reference)
Best.
Guy.:salute::
