Armies of the Napoleonic Wars (2 Viewers)

Guy,
Yet again you have given us an awesome display. The figures all blend so well with your background. You can feel the desperation as the Grenadiers trade their lives for every inch so that the Emperor might escape. A great scene, thank you for sharing!
Best,
Josh

Thank you Josh.
For my friend Geb in particular (with a setting of region memory ...);):confused:
Austrian campaign - ABENSBERG: Spring 1809 ..
The Emperor arrived at Vobourg, he learns that the body of the Archduke advanced towards him to battle to Abensberg ........ the French guard before meeting in the morning the Austrian rearguard forward Abensberg ....... (action, always action!)
Best.

HI Guy,
Thanks my friend {bravo}}
These photos are simply GREAT :salute:::salute::with the positioning of the figures you have really brought out the intensity of a Napoleonic Battle. The poses of the First Legion figures are just so realistic, that Sapper figure is just too cool ^&cool . thanks for sharing my friend .. best Gebhard

August 19, 1813 on the bank of the Boder (river)
..... great army advance in Bohemia .... Napoleon learns BLUCHER has repressed NEY of Kaltzback on Boder. He decides to send troops to meet ..... (some old references FL ... already 5 years ..){eek3}
Guy.:salute::

Best,
Josh

Hello to all,
Before I went on holiday to the sea borders ....:rolleyes::wink2: my last "shots" ..
A soon.
Guy.:salute::

The Battle of Roliça (Portugal) was the first battle fought by the British Army during the War of Esapgne (and Portugal). It took place on 17 August 1808 and opposed the British, French ......... British avant-garde, mainly 95eRifle (rifle) meeting sentinel of French rearguard.
(The 95th riflemen are specifically trained to fight in skirmish, using the best in the field and its protection, and to target individual targets. This is only possible because they are equipped with the new Baker rifle, a shotgun and not a musket. With rifled, precision and scope this weapon was a formidable weapon, even if the load is a little slower.)
(my inspiration)

Waterloo Hougoumont farm 's ....
Colonel Macdonell, commander of the defense of the farm, and a dozen of his guards are ready to "receive" the first light of the French under the command of Colonel Cubieres trying to get in with an ax smashing the front door north .....:mad:
Guy.

Gotta love the British Guards!!, I hope that the Coldstream reinforcements are coming soon.

WOW....Now those are dioramas:salute::....Guy your work is simply excellent. Always look forward to your work. Thank you for posting your very "talented" efforts.

Great looking B&W scenes of Hougoumont gate Guy. You can almost feel the anticipation of the gate being busted open and the fight beginning. Very realistic.

Thank you all for your kind words on my staging ....:eek:
Soon for further "stories" with my toy soldiers!
Best.
Guy.:salute::

Waterloo: June 18, 1815, the last load of red lancers .....
Colbert Chabanais, Pierre-David said Edward, baron at the head of Red Lancers of the Guard, charge at Quatre Bras and Waterloo, where he will receive a final injury and his regiment suffered heavy losses ...
The 2nd Regiment Light Horse Lancers of the Guard
Imperial, often called the Red Lancers because of their
uniform dominant red vermilion (or crayfish) is a
Cavalry Regiment of the Imperial Guard, created in 1810 from the
Hussars of the Dutch Guard. It was dissolved in 1815.

Guy,
You have given us another great set of shots! These Red Lancers are fantastic, the couple I own are among the pride of my collection!
Best,
Josh
