Was thinking the other day as I come across an occasional recommendation for King & Country to consider making half sized crews as additional sets for their tanks. These types of recommendations have sprung up now and again for a couple years. Seem pretty sensible to me as tankers look rather lethargic in their Shermans, Tigers, etc. Yet, with all the companies doing WW2 these days- no one seems interested in doing them at all. Any ideas?

Been after some for years. A set with say, 2 x 1/2 (commander) figures and 2 x 1/4 (driver) figures, for German and US in particular, would be very welcome.

Yeah Wraith- you and I have seen the requests here on this forum over the years-especially in the KC section- you'd think someone would give it a go- figure since they are "halfsies" you could spend half the quid for em, which is always a hit for collectors :)

Its something that would be a great thing to have IMO but, did not someone mention that it was someting that certain companies would not do as they felt collectors would buy these and mix and match and buy less tanks etc as they could make them look different with a cheaper new crew?

Would not expect them in the near future if this is the mindset

Sorry mate, must have missed that explanation. Quite an "A-HA" moment for me there- didn't even consider that. Not so sure that would happen but, guess it's possible.

I have always advocated more vehicle crewmen in any scale. Not only would these be handy for 1/30th, but there is still a fair-sized 1/32nd market to go with the old 21C tanks, FoV vehicles, etc. It's a niche market and might be a good place for resin figures as there are fewer small parts to break off of a tanker (usually).

Chris...

I don't know if it was on here or, whilst speaking with people somewhere else.I would like to see such things and more troops at rest etc playing cards, chess and. a lot more accessories to accompany all the sets
