That’s a great set and ironically said the same to Andy Neilson four days ago when he visited my man cave. That church is a stunner also. My car vignette is also close to my Conte church, similar to yours. Excellent. Robin.

Thanks Andy,

cant wait to see what youre planning for Arnhem 80th anniversary next year in Sep !

TGM are planning something too.

Cheers,

Stefan

Great scene Stefan! That church is an incredible piece.

You’re welcome Stefan and greetings from Melbourne Airport as I prepare to board Cathay Pacific and fly back to Hong Kong.
Re the ‘Arnhem 80th. Anniversary’ next year…I’ve already got a few ideas for something special for this memorable battle.….Also not particularly surprised that TGM are planning something too…c’est la vie, c’est la guerre in the wonderful world of toy soldiers!
All the best,
Andy.

What I like the most about this picture is that you have bought the Conte church back from its damaged state to a fully restored building. This is truly a one off building, you are so lucky. Robin.

Thanks Robin,

David Marshall at TM Terrain fixed it up for me. he could do yours too ! did a lovely job.

Got some Conte 3 storey buildings he is fixing up next to enlarge the dio even more...

Cheers,

Stefan

Always thought it was funny Stefan, that I have spent thousands of dollars on broken structures to reflect war damage. David does brilliant work for sure. Lots of forum members have displayed his work including Andy. I was lucky enough to be able to extend my church with rear side walls, but again in damage form. I really treasure the Conte church and it is possibly the only one in Australia. That said I think yours is fantastic. I am a sucker for churches and bridges. Like to see how your next project turns out. Robin.

The after shot^&grin
Hope you are ok Stefan with me adding these, but i still think yours is a touch better.
Cheers, Robin.

Like you i use it as a Arnhem display, but Conte issued it as a D-Day item. Still the MG series looks so good IMO.
