Arnhem/Market Garden German Figures And Vehicles? (1 Viewer)

An interesting idea. However, when you consider the additional production and freight costs I'm sure a model issued in pieces would end up costing significantly more than if it was released entire.

Rather than issue it in pieces, sell it in sections that could be fit together. You could buy 1 or more sections at a time - whatever would fit the display. and rarher than solid wood, make it out of frame and thin sheets like the actual glider. Cheaper and lighter.

 - pieces and sections are the same thing. A model sold in sections/pieces/parts would end up costing the producer and thus the collector more than if it was sold as a complete prebuilt model, so what's the point

Well lets say it was made up of 4 sections each costing $100, the entire

piece at $400 might be to expensive for some collectors to fit into their

budget. A section or two might fit in with other planned purchases.

I say this because quite a few people commented that the recovery vehicle

was very nice but to expensive at $299.

For those with limited space and or funds I can see the point of selling only say the front section as a separate set. However for those that want the complete Glider I think a complete pre-built model is the best option.

Just think guys, each section would need modifications to allow them to lock into the other sections to create the entire glider. When you combine that additional production cost with the other extra costs such as freight etc it makes the section by section sale idea less desirable (imo) than a prebuilt glider. If you don't have the money for the complete prebuilt glider now you can finance the model via creditcard etc or buy from a dealer that accepts Lay-buys.
