Any particular sets you wouldlike to see for the Axis side for this series?:D

I'd really like to see some Pak 40s with lots of wounded crew aroubnd it, and a piece opf netting slumped over the gun's barrel, has King and Country bought the movie rights to this series?:)

Because I just realised that the figure with umberella was the most obvious choice of figure from the film anyone could make!:)

If they had purchased the movie rights, then they could deffoz make a set of figures portraying the British Flame-thrower team, and even the old lady and son who owned the house, and maybe even that young small German soldier with white flag of truce!:D

Even that little personell-carrier with Michael Caine in it!

I would love to see a model of Field Marshall Model's staff car?:D

Or even a figure of 82nd Airborne General Gavin, with Dutch advisor beside him!:D:cool:

Grey Panther tank but, and Kubelwagon with men in it on machine gun placed in centre of car!

I would love to see a glider... one that can open...

With a jeep driving out?

I think the problem with the Market Garden range is the lack of different British paratroopers figures
There loads of Axis stuff you can buy now to make a great Arnhem battle but the lack of different British paras is a bummer
I've read loads of book on the battle & a 17 pounder anti tank gun with crew + a mortar team & a Vickers machine gun team is needed

The thing that is sometimes forgotten is that Arnhem, compared to most other WW2 ranges,is still quite a new range. There have been only two waves of releases so far so theres still lots to come.Andy was quite definite a few weeks back that theres lots of cool stuff to come for Arnhem its just a matter of fitting it all into the release schedule. When it comes it will be worth the wait guys:).

You know a good DIORAMA piece for the Arnhem Range would be a Broken Gilder - like a tail section or a main body piece with a wing.

Oops - I forgot this range has already taken a nose dive !

I had the same thought about the broken up glider after i watched the film THE LAST DROP theres a scene in it with a broken up glider K&C could make a good set with a few casualties sat around it

Cheers Craig

Cool idea.It would also be a great scene to have one of the Jeeps coming out of the broken Glider.

I agree with ron, this would be a nice scene!:D:cool:

How abou this....A glider which came in parts?:D

One bit could have a cockpit 3" long with smashed glas sand bullet holes in it with dead pilot in one chair, and another pilot coming out of side hatch?:eek

Then for the second bit you could have a straight section maybe 6" long with bulletholes and small circle windows with broken glass in it, and maybe some paras lying inside dead and wounded!:D
But at the end of this section you could have bits of metal and wood sticking out from the oval shape of the glider, as if the Glider has crashed or has been hit by Flakand has been ripped in two, this way you could see inside the Glider!

Could have some airborne medics with medic bags and stretchers heading into the Glider to help the wounded and dead!:D

Then you could have another section maybe 8" long with the long metal iron boards so the jeeps could travel down them, and loads of paras unloading and driving away the supplies!:D But King and Country could make the area around the oval shape of this piece with bits of metal and wood sticking out, as if it has been broken off from the other piece!:D
This could be the piece which wings could be fit into!:D

King and Country could produce two wings which you could buy seperately, incase you only want half a glider, because a full one might not fit into collector's displays or dioramas?:)

Finally you could have an end tail section maybe 5" long with more bullet holes and an end door so the paras could get out of the glider!:)

I'm going to draw a diagram and ask my mum to put it on her computer at her work and send an e-mail to our home computer with it!

Scott that certainly sounds like a very interesting idea. It might be one way

to keep production cost reasonable, collectors could mix and match the sets

to fit their needs space wise.:)

Exactly!:D

Like a lucky dip...except you can pick the ones you want!:D

Scott  this is an excellent way of doing the glider!!! This way we can buy the piece's as & when we can afford to & build the display to fit our cabinets
