My Dad VX92981 Sapper Albert John Roberts, 9th Division 2nd AIF saw service in Borneo in 1945 and like most soldiers of all armies spent a lot of time doing bugger all! To while away the endless time he did what he called 'doodling' . He would just draw what he saw in the papers or around him, sometimes just out of his head. He keep them after the war as well as that Mum kept all his letters which on the envelopes he would draw a 'doodle' for her. All these have sat in draw for many years and I think they should be now in the light as small tribute to my Dad an Anzac.
