Hi Guys,

Here’s a ‘sneak preview’ of just a small part of a much larger D.DAY diorama K&C are producing that will be on show at the Chicago Show in late September. Yours truly built the Casino.

Also being previewed are a selection of French Commandos led by Commandant Philip Keiffer which will be released around the same time as Chicago.

Hope you like it.

All the best,
Andy

You have done a marvellous job Andy. Cannot believe you can find the time to work on such a project. You must be doing a 25 hour day:salute::, Robin.

Many thanks Guys for your appreciative comments and support of K&C.

Our friend Robin suggests that I might be doing a 25 hour day...To be honest, sometimes I wish I could perform that kind of miracle...Alas that kind of miracle is well beyond me.

What I can do is work in the evenings after I get back from the K&C HQ...work at the weekends and during public holidays...

And that's how the Ouistreham Casino was designed and built...Over a period of a couple of months.

But, at the same time, how can I call it 'work'...It was and is pure pleasure and enjoyment!

I consider myself one of the luckiest guys in the world...I get to eat, sleep, drink and help create every toy soldier in the world that I ever dreamed of as a kid and as a partially grown-up collector...

I also get to talk and connect with hundreds, maybe thousands, of fellow collectors all over the world and share their enthusiasm and passion for this little hobby of ours that provides so much enjoyment and fun for all concerned.

That's just a few of the reasons why I take such an active part in this and the other toy soldier Forum...

Communication and participation are, I firmly believe, vitally important to myself and K&C and directly impact on the ongoing success of our company and what we produce now and in the future PLUS the simple pleasure I get from being part of it.

Maybe that's one important part of what makes K&C so different from some of the competition.
And on that cheerful note, adios for now,
Andy.

Andy, your passion and love for the hobby has always been quite evident. Your availability to your customers through forums or at shows is something I believe that has been a big part of why K&C has been so successful (as well as making awesome toy soldiers :))

I have enjoyed meeting you on several occasions and always liked our chats about all things toy soldiers. Keep up the good work my friend.

All the best,

Duke

This is the most amazing dio piece I’ve ever seen produced by you Andy. What attention to detail on this. Can’t wait to see it on display in its entirety. Things like this are what making collecting K&C so exciting and what types of releases we can see in the future. Thanks Andy. All the best.

Hi Ranger,
Greetings from Brisbane, Australia...I just flew in from HK a few hours ago and saw your very kind words.
At the same time I'm working on the Casino and its base I'm also building part of an Egyptian Pyramid for Chicago.
I really should not be allowed to have this much fun!!!
All the best and happy collecting,
Andy (down under).

Thrilled that after a long absence Andy is embracing the Ancient Egypt series again, which is one of K & C's outstanding core pillars. Robin.
