Well all I can say is wow. I was saving up for some Green Devils but I must have those LRDG sets. I was not collecting when K&C did this the first time and of course missed out. I will not miss out this time. They look great and the AK Stug will also join my collection. Well I think I know what I am getting for myself and for Christmas this year.

Thank you Andy,

Old Guard
Who does of course collect Napolelonic but after that must have all Desert War sets.

WOW he really does listen, you have to admit that. Now we need just to wait for the Bedford and Austin K2. How am I ever going to pay for all this and Arnhem yet to come!

Thats a very good point. As well as using his own imagination and interests he does also lend an ear to his customers, the Desert Stug is a classic example.Thank you Andy:)

Rob

Great stuff, I can see some LRDG sets making it to Oz's mainly German collection real soon.

How many of you guys want to buy all the releases?:)

The price of one of the LRDGs has not been announced but I'll assume it's $125 like the other. On that basis the EAs would cost you $634. Ouch!

Haven't included the Stug.

Can already fill out my birthday and Christmas list.:)

You can't imagine how I am happy that I had stopped collecting WWII, saving a lot of money here.

Hey, I find those Chevrolet trucks and Reece jeep terrific even if I have no interest in them. You, guys, must be over excited about these releases.

As far as the new Crusaders and Saracens figures are concerned, they are outstanding but I will not buy them as I do not collect figures in fighting position. Saving money here too.

Pierre.

I bet Louis and Mr Gambale are going to love all this!

Pierre,

Don't worry, Andy and the other manufacturers will find a way to separate your money from your wallet :D

The AK Stug looks great. I find myself planning to buy something and then seeing an upcoming release in the dispatch that looks better. BTW - just to "rivet" count - would Richard really be wearing Plantagenet during the crusades? Not an expert but have usually seen him depicted in white with red cross during this period. Also, we need a tank commander with one headphone on and one off.

The EA stuff is great. To bad I'm not getting any "birthday money":D. By the way, I guess our debate about uniforms in the desert has been rendered moot by the various uniforms on the new figures.

Richard has a kind of Spartan helmet thing going on that gives him a cool new look from the traditional image.

Yeah, I noticed that too and I think it looks really cool- still haven't taken the plunge towards this line but as I am stretched WAY too thin but do enjoy looking at them nonetheless.

That decapitated crusader is pretty brutal.

I might actually try to swing my brother into this hobby with the Saracen line-he is a fan of Saladin. That would be cool if he would collect those figures- sort of like a joint brother effort to grow the collection.
