I just got a friendly e-mail from our good friend Peter Nathan Toy Soldier in Australia. He had just re-arranged his store displays of TCS items to accomodate the new King Tiger. I just had to post the images as the displays are off the charts!

The winter scene is my favorite, brrrr!!!

I believe the King Tiger on the winter scene is the CS00457W ?
I am a bit shocked about the painting: it seems to be painted artificial with a lot of turquoise and absolutely not realistic like on the producers pictures - am I wrong ?
Does anybody already have this tnak at home ?
I ordered one, but I think, I will not be happy with a turquois painted King Tiger...^&confuse:redface2:

The photo is pretty dark. The white balance may be off as well. The colour of the same tank on the CS site looks much different. Since you ordered one, ask the dealer what it looks like when he has one in his hand.

I have just enlarged the picture 400% and, it looks the same to me the winter whitewash on the sides looks heavier than what is on the turret but, it does so in the promo pictures. You would expect more on the hull etc than the turret in reality as it was water soluable and would run from top to bottom.

Does not look a problem to me

Turquois paint, now thats a great idea!!!! He he,... too funny! You gave me quite a chuckle. Anyhow the winter versions have the same underpaint brown green and yellow as the Normandy style with just white over wash. Not to worry, good one though..he he!
