AWI - A March Back to Boston, or Perhaps a Rout (1 Viewer)

...Its really fun for me to see collectors of AWI figures enjoying First Legion the way some of us enjoy our other FL lines . I'm sure my friend Noah is really happy to have more collectors to share his passion of the AWI with . Enjoy .. Happy collecting Gebhard

Gebhard, you are right. It is nice to discuss in depth some of the aspects of the AWI with a fellow die hard! Makes me think though of all the times I have seen similar such discussions about the Napoleonic forces from such Nap die hards as you, Bill, and many others. I feel I have learned a lot through reading those threads, so it is nice to try and contribute a little. It's one reason this forum so great!

Hi Mestell. Its nice to see your enjoying your figures and with 7 more on the way that will mke some impressive display. Im going to add some to mine as soon as i can. I still need to get a few more of the Colonial militia. I will take a few photos later and see if the missus can put them on here as I dont have a clue how to do it.

Thanks Iwan. My main interest in this hobby is collecting American Civil War figures, primarily those sculpted by Ken Osen who has done work for Conte, Old Northwest Toy Company, Don Troiani Historical Miniatures, and currnetly W. Britain. He is also the one I get all my scenics from through his and his wife's company Hudson & Allen. However, with that said, YES YES I am really enjoying my new FL AWI Brits. I plan to eventually have a samll company strength display of 26 of the Grenadiers, to include 3 officers, 2 Sgt, 1 drummer, and 20 enlisted ^&grin. I am, as we all are, looking forward to seeing more photos of your collection. Best regards . . .
