AWI - Continuing the fun with my British Grenadiers (2 Viewers)

Thank you artmabigor for your kind comments. I am glad you enjoyed my photos. Like you, I feel that photography is a very big part of my TS collecting interest. The series continues . . . .

Mike really well done.... thank you for posting these shots.

Wow! these pictures are fantastic. The AWI range is really growing on me.

I like those a lot Mike. You did credit to those excellent figures.^&cool

Hi Mike, I have always enjoyed seeing your fantastic ACW scenes, so as an AWI fanatic I am really glad to see that you dabble with this period as well.

Your set up is something I continually admire and now you've got some AWI on the go thats great to see!

I have to tell you that the foliage isn't that green in mid April here in Massachusetts, and our stone walls are rounder field stones, BUT that is beautiful series of photos! Since the troops are the 5th Regt. of Foot, you have Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and, Pennsylvania as settings until the until went to the Caribbean in 1778. You could re-title as Charlestown in June 1775.

Catching up on my own thread . . . Thank you all for your comments; Noah, Andanna, Frank & Frank, Bill, Rod, Cornwallis, and Scott . . . .

I now have 29 Grenadiers and here in the next few days I will be ordering my first selection of Colonial militia. I should resume taking new photos in the next 7-10 days . . . . .

No, Mike isn't building up anything. He is drafting whole regiments at a time!^&grin

It would seem that the "FL Bug" has certainly bit me, and yes I am busy "drafting" new recruits. But just like many collectors, I use my hobby to perpetuate new interests :wink2: and I can tell you that my K&C collections have been greatly deminished over the past several weeks - and I must say, my secondary market sales have been pretty good ^&grin. Buying & selling, swapping & trading - certainly another fun aspect of this passion . . .
