Barzso Battle of Lexington and Concord - first look at one of the figures (8 Viewers)

I like the Minutemen but I wish that the Grenadiers had the regulation musket slings.

Jim,
Thanks for sharing the pictures; you did a spectacular job of painting those figures, brilliant to say the least.

The figures look superb, Ron did a great job on those..............sorry the whole "sling thing" has you upset there Scott.

If the sling is not your thing and the ping upsets your pong then wing it so your ying makes your yang .................

Thanks for the picture, now I'll be able to spot you at the Woburn show in April and as you enter the hall, you'll be singing;

Sling sliding away
Sling sliding away
Oh the nearer your destination the more your slings sliding away

Is you favorite movie sling blade by the way?

Thx - George.. I appreciate it.. The sharp details on the figures make them a pleasure to paint.

@Scott - Glad you like the Minutemen.. At the end of the day it's impossible to please everyone - that's just the nature of the beast, I guess... Hopefully the lack of the musket sling isn't too off-putting.

Regards,

Jim

Say George, are you going to have these new Barszos at Woburn? I want to get the Minutemen.

No, neither set will be available until after the Chicago show in September; Ron might sell them direct prior to then however..............

Was reading this yesterday and can't wait to get this set. Painted one of my old plastic figures, I think from A Call to Arms yesterday. Wondering how they will look compared to Barzso. Got to add a few details and fix a few spots.

Barzso's Rev War figures are larger than A Call to Arms and Marx.. Their size matches Accurate and Barzso's own Bushy Run & Rev War Camp figures.

Thx,

Jim

Call to Arms and MARX mix well with Accurate so I would think the new Barzso figures which are made to match Accurate, would work too. I didnt post this as I do not want to debate with Clouse..... The end choice remains yours of course

Here's a figure size comparison..

Thx for your interest..
