I woke to this on the news here in America while getting ready for the day...just too sad. the people were all dressed up as the different characters so no one even flinched when the guy came in with a gas mask on and guns....he tossed the tear gas at the same time it was going on in the movie.....and everyone thought it was like some new 4G effect put on for the midnight opening.....

The death toll is 14 and 50 wounded, some of which are critical....some which are little children...grand parents. He unloaded on them with an AK and a shot gun.

May god rest and bless these folks and there friends and families.

Ludwig would like ten seconds in the jail cell with this guy.....no gloves......

It will interesting to see what this shooter's book shelf looks like.

On a thread like this I tend to get in trouble, so not my intention here at all.

YES, I know we have criminal's laws and rights in this country, as does most of the civilized world.

""BUT"" in cases like this, why bother???

Is he Insane ... sure.

BUT THAT is a reason not an excuse. After the grieving process, let’s let the families of the victims decide what should happen to this animal.

My prayers and hopes to all the families of the victums.

I,m not making lite of this, but I,m sure we will be hearing from "so called experts" as to how this could have been prevented.
Like when the shooter was in kindergarden and brought a watergun to school , those were the early signs. Why wasn't the FBI, CIA, Highway Patrol notified and why wasn,t he under police survelience for the last 18 years!
This day and age always looking to blame someone else.
This guy was a nut case, it was going to happen.

Not in the US of A Larry. We have laws and courts and degrees of murder. Eye for an Eye is keep justice in proportion to the crime committed. If the shooter is found insane ( sounds that way so far) he should be locked up and treated. You never know when mental illness will strike any of us and such laws and justice prevent mere revenge.

Gary WHEN "so called experts" chime in, we'll know. In the mean time saying a possibly mentally ill man is responsible is strawmanning the murders into some case for personal responsibility based on what you just made up without proof.

Agree, The only victims were the people shot. Do not care if he had a hard upbringing if his Dad beat him. What drove him to this? Do not care. I do not own gun and have never shot one but I can already see the backlash coming.
