That's pretty much how im kitting out my Garage/Mancave book shelves and cabinets on either side and a table in the middle.
Not 100% ready need to improve the lighting and seal of any areas that could get dust in then should be good to go.........enjoyed the 2nd round of pics there Harold.

Aw . . . . Brawners Farm, the baptisim of farm for the Iron Brigade. My favorite ACW battle to study and read about. Quite the stand-up, knock 'em down slug fest. Very, very impressive. Just loved every photograph in your presented series of pictures. And I thought my ACW (via Ken Osen) was large. My goodness, you can field entire regiments. Just absolutely jaw dropping Harold. I really would like to participate at least once in a 54-60mm ACW war game such as this.

It's all Ken Osen's fault. 99% of the reason I started collecting 54mm was Kens' amazing work with Conte 's playsets. 90% of this display is because of his efforts sculpting amazing figures and terrain pieces.
I call my Civil War collection the ultimate playset, and it's a treasure with all the variety offered through the years , conversions and castings I make and paint . Simply a grand time setting up a display. My 54mm collections include 1066 Warlord, Napoleonic, ACW, ZULU and WW2 all dominated by Kens work through the last 12 years of my collecting 54mm.
So, Thanks' Mr Osen!

I couldn't agree more with your comment above. Ken Osen is a real gem when it comes to sculpting figures and that's becasue he puts so much historical research into each one to make sure its as historically accurate as possible. He also knows and understands how the individual soldier wore his uniform and made those personal "field adjustments" to make it more adaptable for his use. These little touches also show on his sculpts. All the best . . . .

I see the reinforcements I sent you are being put to good use. These are beconing some of my favorite troop figures. All we need now is a model of the Sherfy farmhouse and barn to make a great diorama depicting the 114th's stand against the gray tsunami on July 2, 1863 at Gettysburg. Very nice looking all massed together.
