Hi Guys,

Last week we featured the recently-captured Libyan town building and some of our 8th Army figures and fighting vehicles ...

This week we’ve come up with a slightly different scenario ... “Battlefield Conference”. A few days before the British arrive Rommel and a few of his commanders get together to discuss the 8th Army’s advance ... and draw up their own plans for an orderly withdrawal.

Hope you like it ... Enjoy!
Andy

Another nice scene Andy and yeah, that new sdkfz 250/5 is a cracker! I was wondering when some new AK would make an appearance and this little vehicle is a pleasant surprise.

.......and summer Camo.^&grin

It has been done in summer camo as WS121 where it is an Sd.Kfz. 250/1. It was retired in 2011.

WS121.jpg

The GREIF and ADLER versions in the meeting diorama are two of the several command cars used by Rommel and are Sd.Kfz. 250/3 or Sd.K.fz 250/5 which are command cars with different radio equipment. So for those who couldn't get the long retired (2006) GREIF, you can now pick up the Rommel Adler. There appear to be some sculpting and painting difference between the two models.

This is great, Looks like I know what one future purchase. I will have. I hope It will be real soon.

Wayne, that guy looks like from WS032 the SDKfz 231 8-wheeled armoured car made in 2001.

Kesselring must be a bit baffled by being confronted by two Rommels!

I wonder if the AK armour will be done in camo from now on. Its a definite plus.

Tom mate,
That figure with the Jerry Can is PM013 titled AK Tanker with Jerry Can. I purchased mine from K&C HK in March, 2010. Long gone but maybe coming again as a new AK:smile2:
Cheers Howard
