I'm turning 26 next month, so I haven't been "around the block yet." But here's where I've been so far:

Civil War:
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Shiloh, Tennessee
Antietam/Sharpsburg, Maryland
Harper's Ferry, West Virginia
Perryville, Kentucky

Blake, an impressive list at such a tender age!

Have you seen the re-enactments at Perryville? They range from about 100 to thousands. The larger battles rival those at Gettysburg.

Yes, I've been to Perryville in '06, big reenactment, and again in '08, which was actually terrible, hardly anyone there. But I do enjoy walking around the tents, I do the same here in Louisville at Locust Grove.
