BB030 German King Tiger Tank - SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (2 Viewers)

"There are a number of variations there. I modified the resolution and cropped the image to match my standard 72" x 24" background size and had it printed"

Is that right? Your basic backdrop is 72" x 24"? That is 6 feet long!
No idea how the resolution would handle such a large print. But I might try to do a much smaller print, maybe 12" x 30". There are a couple of nice backdrops in the site.

Thanks for sharing.

The images of the KT out on the field are STUNNING!

Thanks again!

Delighted. The best panzer yet.

I really, really like this! Don't get me wrong, I love a good dio as much as the next collector but there is also something very refreshing about seeing tanks simply displayed on shelves.

Yes, 6 feet by 2 feet. I shoot my own backgrounds used a Nikon D800 (36 megapixel, 7360 x 4912 pixels). In order to reach the 150 dpi minimum recommended resolution I enlarge the image to 10800 pixels wide. As this re-samples the original image some fidelity is lost but not enough to worry about, particularly when depth of field blurs the background slightly.

KT #221 is on eBay for $383.00 for those who missed it. Buy It Now 3 available. Seller is Phoenix262012.

That is a very odd listing. He is selling these below the original price, not just in an auction but a buy it now. You have to wonder if he purchased them below the original retail.

I think that is a toy soldier store selling in CA$. The exchange rate is good for US customers.

No, that is the US dollar equivalent; the Canadian price is 500. The price from a Canadian dealer is almost 600 so the asking price in the auction is well below retail.

The seller states that he is selling them because of health issues! Priced to move IMO.

Looks like he lowered the price slightly unless the change is due to currency fluctuation.
