Since it looks like JJD is expanding into the Beaver Wars I hope he makes more Carignan-Salieres Regiment and maybe the first Compagnie Franches de la Marine units.

Excellent topic. Have already pre-ordered the Iroquois Warrior so will be interesting to see what else John has in mind for this range.

Is there any good non-fiction books on the Beaver Wars? I can find an article here and there but not really any good book on them. Anything up in Canada?

Mark,

Probably an issue with nomenclature. The Beaver Wars are generally referred to as the Iroquois Wars in Canada. The entry in The Canadian Encyclopedia lists a few books for further reading, and it's worth noting that there may be some publications on the war published in Quebec that are only available in French.

Like the Beaver War figures and find that era fascinating, look forward to seeing more from JJD. A very industrious and interesting animal, was watching a Doco recently where they're reintroducing them back into areas where they had been wiped out, including in the UK.

Received mine yesterday from my local dealer. A beautiful Iroquois Armoured Warrior.

I look forward to seeing further releases of this range hopefully in the future.

Thanks Mike. I've him next to John's General Wolfe miniature in campaign attire. Befitting, since Wolfe brought across the Iroquois nation to the British side during the FIWs.

Cheers,

This guy is ana amazing figure. Thinking about adding him to my little bunch of skraelings
