Hi all,
it's been around a year since I first started building my own dioramas--a life long ambition. Steadily I'm getting better, trial by error, and lots of luck, the journey has been exceptionally enjoyable. I finished my latest building last week (photos on the diorama section of forum) and have many more planned. I realised I needed a base to display the buildings on, where I could reconfigure streets etc, so I made a cobble base using Das model clay, individually press/stamping each cobble which was mild lunacy, and then hand painting many cobbles which was probably comfirmation of my madness. I think the results are quite pleasing, but more pleasing was covering all that hard work with toy soldiers. Here are some photos.

I've taken loads of photos which I'll probably make into a photo slide show video at some point.
Cheers,
Ollie.
