"Behind the Woodshed" (Dio) (1 Viewer)

Very nicely done and excellent photography. Love it.

A German Panther tank commander, unaware of the danger hiding behind the woodshed, stops his tank to check directions on his map. An American patrol waits for just the right moment to try and take out the German tankers.

All figures from K&C. Panther tank from Honour Bound.

Dear "wwiibuff":
Really splendid photos of WW2 small action diorama!
"Iron Brigade"

Wonderful natural lighting technigue in the photos of the GIs by the shed.

Keep up the good work.

Duke, my favorite of all your fine dios!:salute::
Simple, yet very effective. The lighting makes the scene pop. The combo of K&C figures with HB armor is hard to beat.

Thanks to all that have commented on this diorama. I really appreciate the kind words and the encouragement on the natural lighting. I've been trying different angles, time of day, etc. for different lighting results and it's good to hear all the positive comments on these pictures. I probably took over 50 photos of this scene and posted what I thought were some of the better ones. Also, some commented on the Figarti Farmhouse and the W. Britains woodshed and wooden fence. These are really great scenic pieces and I should have included more photos where you can see them better. The woodshed is nice viewing from the front showing the detail of the woodpile inside, but I didn't include a photo showing this. I'll do another scene sometime soon maybe and include more detail shots of the scenics. The K&C GI's in this dio are also some of my favorites they have done. K&C really does an excellent job on their figures. Thanks again guys.:)

Magic Dio Duke, really like what you've done with the buildings/fences and the great lighting creates a realistic feel. Awesome!:smile2::salute::

Thanks again guys.

Napoleon1er, the Figarti Farmhouse I believe was retired a while back and I have not noticed any for sale. It may be hard to come by.

Wow.....Well done dio !!!! The natural light with shade effect and the bases of the figures obscured makes this scene come to life !!!!! :salute:: :salute:: :salute::
