Just wondered how many people watched this series. I mean the original U.K version not the U.S. remake?

I watched the British series. Liked it a lot.

Gave the US one a try and hated it.

I wouldn't bother watching a US version, the Yanks can't make a credible copy of a UK show, they lack the finer touchs that only the Brits can do.

First off I love my country, but our TV does suck in this one way we block the ability to watch shows from other countries. I know how to get around this and this is just my opinion but I hate that while I am blocked from watching Masterchef Australia because Fox wants to rip it off and do a crappy version. I can watch the Australian version via torrent and see an add for CSI NY.

Sorry for the run on sentence and the rant.

Sopranos
Boardwalk Empire
OK a lot of HBO stuff
Also FX is doing a lot of good things

I respectfully disagree. I have watched both and find the U.S. version to be a lot edgier, more adult themed in its plots. I also like our actors a bit better. Michael

Yes I thought the U.S. version was pretty good which isn't always the case.
