Better late than never: The Sherman variation (1 Viewer)

Here are some period photos of the deep wading Shermans. The dozer has an earlier style of stack but I included it so you get the effect.

Has anybody gotten their Snorkel Sherman yet? I am really looking forward to mine, but I know I won't get it until Chicago or later . . .

Nope, not me either yet. Then again I put my order in the last weekend prior to the dead line. No worries, I'll get it and I feel very confident it will be great as usual.

I have no doubt that it will be great -- my only problem is a fear that it will be so great I will want other golden series vehicles like the Sturmtiger or the Sherman with the foliage on it, which, from what I understand, I can no longer order.:(

if its any consolation, K&C seems to pick up the pace.

and i can't wait for HB new figures.:)

just hoping it would be more than 35 this time.:(

As far as I can see, Paul, Carlos and I each ordered one of these beauties. I wonder how many others were ordered?

I backed-out of ordering all the HB's I planed on :( I already have the Winter Sherman, 2 Berge Panther's, 2 broke-down Panther's, 5 Panther's, 3 Jagdpanther's, 2 amphibious Jeeps.

HB's are very nice and the new Sherman is a knock-out.

I can't wait to get my "Gold" Edition Sherman! This is in spite of having two of HB's previous Sherman's. Okay, call me crazy (and I am) but I love this hobby. It's a good thing too since I'll need the distraction because it going to be a bloody day on Wall Street tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong.

BTW, Steven Chong I believe also order a HB "Gold" Edition Sherman.

Since I really started looking at the Honour Bound stuff after falling for the Gold Edition Snorkel Sherman, I bought another Panther, a Jagdpanther, three diorama pieces, and have agreed in principal with a good friend on this forum to purchase a Gold Edition Tiger. Assuming that the things which need to happen for me to get the Tiger work out, I will have one version of every vehicle Honour Bound produced except for the Gold Edition Sturmtiger.

I still covet the Gold Edition Sherman with the camouflage foliage, and am not going to give up on getting one!!

I hear the market is already down 400 on before hours trading. It may be for the best to get all the bloodletting out of the way quickly, instead of doing it slowly.

I believe we have only seen the tip of the ice berg on melt downs due to sub prime lending and "bundling mortgages".

Louis you really have the collectors and completist gene built into every strand of your DNA! :)
I've admired from afar all HB's tanks and vehicles. The only one I have is one of their standard Shermans. It was just impossible for me to find the money for anything else.
I'm sorry they won't be making anymore vehicles even if they were just outside my price range.

Two of the diorama bases I purchased arrived today, and I must say, two thumbs up!:cool: Very nicely done, HB!

any pics Louis?

I'll take some and send them to Brad to post for me. I put the summer food line set on the small diorama base with the broken gate and "caen" sign. I put my summer "Al Capone" Normandy Sherman on the big base with the gate and cobblestone street (complete with sewer cap).

If I ever get the Gold Edition Sherman with foliage camouflage, I intend to line up the three bases, and make a column led by the two Gold Edition Shermans (foliage and snorkel) followed by the "Al Capone" Sherman and the amphibious jeep.
