Bf109 "Red 5", Ju 87 Stuka unrestored - Deutches Technikmuseum Berlin (2 Viewers)

Here are a few more photos of the Bf 109 "Red 5", and unrestored Ju 87 Stuka from the Technical Museum in Berlin.

These are a little out of focus unfortunately, the low quality sizing of the image to fit the internet does not help, but mostly due to the fact that I did not have a tripod with me at the time (lesson learned).

In the background of the Bf 109 (left lower corner) is a wing section of a Lancaster bomber, that dropped out of the sky over Germany - unrestored. Its impressive to walk underneath it to get a sense of the sheer size of the aircraft!

The Ju 87 is truely an exciting craft to experience, even unrestored. And just imagine if it were to be fully restored one day! - Mike

Exterior photographs of the U-955, the world's only remaining type VIIC u-boat, on the beach at Laboe, near Kiel, Germany. The Naval Memorial tower can be seen in the background of the second photo, just beyond the conning tower detail.

You are very good with the camera...I like these photos alot. It is mind boggling to think these types of things could be created and built so well with so little time...Thanks for sharing!

Thanks MakeytMaker, but it helps to have a 16-35mm wide zoom lens on the camera for cramped spaces aboard u-boats!

When you go to Chicago, make time to visit the Museum of Industry, they have a U-Boat Exhibit that will blow your mind. They also have a Stuka and Spitfire.

The sub is a must in Chicago. I do not remember the planes. But, i am not really into them.

I wondered when someone would mention the trip to Littlefields'.
