Bit nervous, this is my first post! (1 Viewer)

I hear you mate;).For me its about balance.I don't think theres any harm if once a month we have the dispatches thread as its good to just chew the cud and get the discussion going, its a great hobby to share this one.But of course there are limits even for me and I see some of these threads as sometimes a relief from the rivet counter type of thread that (according to some pm's I get)also put people off.Again its about moderation and balance, there should be room for rivet counting,a little bit of ra ra and even the odd Poll now and again. Its all good Bob:D

I'm sorry you find my threads banal Bob,never meant to offend old bean.:)But I do enjoy talking to folk about everything and anything to do with this hobby:cool:.

All the best and see you on parade in June

Rob

Very fair comment Rob and banal is too strong a descriptive;)

It's just me being crusty and sulky that I will be unable to meet with you and the rest of the guys that make up The Frogger Brit Brigade in the bar at the March London show. As you know I'll be in bloody Gran Canaria instead with all that sun and sangria and just like you I know where I'd rather be:D But don't tell Trudi

Now if that's not being a crazy member of this addictive hobby of ours I don't know what is- So just keep my seat warm

Bob

You will be sorely missed my friend, but we will meet up in June at full company strength.Won't say a word to Trudi, thats cos I'm a gent of course;).Can't speak for Simon,James and Jeff though Bob,drunks the lot of them!;)

Have a great holiday mate, and we will raise a glass to our missing comrade at the show.

Now Bob....whats your favourite Tank?????:eek::eek::eek::D;)

Gran Canaria? What a bummer. My heart goes out to you Bob. I'll think of you dodging the sunshine and avoiding alcohol on a beach somewhere whilst I'm living the high life in Shottingham.;)

I might have to turn teatotal after last night (conference + free wine + complete lack of self control = headache and feeling a tad 'delicate'). I may have recovered from this temporary infliction by the end of the month though. :)

Knew I could rely on you;)

Anything in particular you are after in London Simon?

Rob

How long have you got?

What my cards will support, is another matter.

I've not got around to starting my wish list yet, as I'm pretty sure it will change in the next 3 weeks. I trust you have list version 9 already prepared?

Arnhem / D-day? Pah, that's a problem for April. No good thinking too far ahead. Just spend everything you've got in March and worry about April when it comes.

I could have been a financial adviser for the Royal Bank of Scotland you know.....
