Must agree Al :salute:: I also would have liked more cavalry. Like the 18 pounder there was a long wait for the French cavalry to finally arrive. There was only ever one Uhlan figure - all the other Cavalry had three figures. It's a shame it all just fizzled out.

Quite agree. Thought the French cavalry was extremely well done, to the point I bought them all, with multiples of the trooper. Oh well. I guess we were lucky that 1914 got done at all, considering the hold Verdun, the Somme, and 1918 have on the popular imagination. -- Al

My favorites from this time were the French foot soldiers and the French cavalry. They are really wonderful figures. The British and Germans are fantastic as well, but the colors used on the French just really pleased my eyes.
