A few pics of my vignette diorama showcasing John’s new Panzer II Ausf. A model, replicating a tank from the 1st Panzer Division during the Polish Campaign in September, 1939. It’s a great little model and the GA-10D tank commander looks perfect in the hatch. The accompanying tank riders and infantry are War Park products.

Now John only has the Panzer IV left to do and he’ll have made models of all the main German tanks from the Second World War.

Displays of John’s Blitzkrieg Campaign tanks all together: Panzer I (France, 1940); Panzer II (Poland, 1939); and Panzer III (Russia, 1941)

Thanks for the kind comments, Mike and Horus 😃

Here’s a photo of the actual tank that Hunter Rose (Steve) and John undoubtedly used as a reference for this Panzer II model:

I considered making a display similar to the historical photo, but wanted something with a little more action. My inclusion of the tank riders in my display was inspired by the promo image of the Dragon Models 1/6 scale Panzer II Ausf. B:
