Confederate fire decimated Barlow's lines, wounding him and killing Wilkeson, under pressure from the Confederate attack, Barlow's men began to retreat towards Gettysburg....................

VERY COOL GEORGE!!!

another epic battle...
love it!

Thanks Mike, this one was a bit tricky to lay out, not quite the way I wanted it, but space was an issue, I'd need a 10 by 5 to get it 100% the way I wanted it, this one is only 8 by 4...………...

George,
Your setups are superb!{bravo}}{bravo}}

I love the little guys.They might not sculpted as good as bigger figures (they are much better than they use to be) but you can do so much more on a grand scale for dioramas.

The sculpts on the smaller scale figures are actually pretty good IMO, the way they paint up proves it, some are better than others like anything else..........and yes, you can depict large scale layouts in less space...............

Very nice George! I always love seeing your large scale dio's.

I am envious of the space you have.

Thanks for the feedback Mark, I appreciate the fact that you like my smaller scale collection...……………….I enjoy the whole process as far as planning, staging and enjoying...………..

George,

I believe you must put in a lot of research time before each battle. Again, beautifully arranged.

Thanks Steve; I have a large number of wargaming scenario booklets that lay out specific battles with troop positions and topography, I do the best I can to mimic them with my layouts.................

I am curious, once you've laid out the battle scene and you know what the conclusion was (in the real event). Can you see the mistakes made by either side from their alignments?

Excellent question; not really as my layouts are a small snapshot of the actual battle, I do my best to depict as much of it as I can, but I can't come close to an actual true to form depiction.
