Look at photo #1, a picture of the bike in Russia '42! I can see the BMW logo on the side!

If i bought both bikes, would i be able to "mix and match" bikes/figures ? Is the swastika air recognition flag removable?

The 16.Panzer-Division Feldgendarmerie rider can lean against either bike (although the tactical marking doesn't make sense with him on the 24.Panzer-Division bike). The messenger rider should work on either bike. The messenger passenger will only work on the 24.Panzer-Division bike. The air recognition flag is not removable. I know the flag hasn't been popular with several collectors as there doesn't appear to be any photographic evidence of usage in this fashion. I did come across a few pictures of 1:6 scale R75s that did feature the flag utilized like this but since I don't know what source those 1:6 models are based on this doesn't really answer the question. While I would have preferred the bare spare tire the flag was not big enough detraction to preclude me from buying what is otherwise an excellent release.
