I made this figure two scores and many moons ago. A simple conversion but I never finished it. I am now adding a bugle to the piece but cannot quite figure out how the green cords went round the body. Any ideas?

They are two separate cords. The first cord is fastened to the bugle. The one around his body is just decorative. Rather than try to explain, here's some pictures.

Hello Martin,

Thanks for that!

I am now reshaping the basic anatomy, legs and arms.

Well, I was just practising for my next figure - Kaiser Bill.

I think that a post is missing here?

Anyway, I added some putty to improve the overall anatomy of the piece.

As I study this piece, I understand why I abandoned it a few years back. The pose wasn't spot on. Notice that the buttons aren't vertical and the fig seems to lean slightly. So I removed the legs and will substitute them.
