Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (3 Viewers)

Alex, great scene, like the narrow streets. I totally agree with George, those buildings came out great.:)

Alex, you made those? Geez, amazing talent. Maybe you should be forming your own company to make these for commercial production or do a joint venture with one of the manufacturers.

I've been really, really bored waking up logging on and sipping my first cup of coffee (lazy man's Maxwll House already grinded or as a speacial start for the morning Dunkin Donuts freshly ground) spending time reviewing the best of photos being posted by all and finding it a great way to start my day. It's great seeing the time effort and results being posted by all in the Diorama Thread. Enough said and I'm bored so thought I'd add a photo to keep me bored...The Lt.

Joe,
Please, please, keep being bored - it saves all of us from lapsing into the same condition....:):)

I couldn't agree more- if you need some startup cash, gimme a shout- it's a crime your talent is restricted to those of us here on the Frog (but, all the same, it shows the benefit of being on the forum).

Probably like the rest of us though, sometimes merging a hobby into a job causes said hobby to quickly loose its appeal. Either way, Alex, your work is Five star caliber.

Alex: Thanks for posting your fine buildings and diorama. First class work. Your buildings keep getting better and all of them are first class modeling. Better get another room built.:) John

I scan it from the image below and modifed the sign and made it lighter so it can look aged.

Alex, are your buildings solid or hollowed out for interior figure placement? Thanks, Michael

They are hollow. I've thought about doing an interior with wallpaper and stuff so maybe on my next building.

Just a little bit bored, so only miny dio shots...

Simon could you please post again the Tiger II photo without the red light?....this is a great picture I’m curious to see without the effects.

Cheers

Thanks Rod,

The effects were down to me not knowing what I'm doing with a camera, rather than a deliberate thing, but I got another similar shot:

Thanks Simon, as I thought it is a good photo-shot my friend, I love this Tank. Also I liked the way you displayed the buildings behind.

Obrigado.

Rod.

Simon,
Glad to see you making excellent use of those Conte buildings you bought from me; he made THE best buildings, what a shame he has left WWII high and dry at this point........

Rod,

Thanks for your comments, it's nice when I've got an hour or two to mess around.

George,

I'd have those buildings working overtime if it weren't for my wife wanting to claim the dining room back. Something to do with having somewhere to eat or some other trivial consideration...if only she could understand priorities...

The buildings are great (and HUUUUUGE!). As you say, just need RC to produce some more.

Cheers
