Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (3 Viewers)

Just bored again being motivated by all of the boredom being showed throughout the Diorama Thread. It's a treat to see what's being added to all of the started story lines as well as others....The Lt.

Once again being bored after enjoying the last posted chapter of the UKReb's outstand Epic of The Civil War thought I'd post the following. Seems like private Hitch is in trouble again.....The Lt.

What is he trying to stick in that mortar barrel. :)

It's what I believe was referred to as a "Wonky Round".

It was one of Hitler's late war wonder weapons, whereby a mortar round casing was designed with a 25 degree angle and a 1 in 12 twist, to enable the mortar crews to fire around corners more effectively.

It did met with some success in late 1944, but was withdrawn from combat useage after inexperienced troops combined the "Wonky Round" with the "Model 4 Curvey Mortar Barrel", leading to a "Gotten Himmel, ein ownen goal!" moment.
