Fubar,

Great to see you posting your wonderful battles again. The Austrians look great, who makes these?

Hope you get bored again.

:):)

Jeff

The Austrians are plastic Italeri figures... one would need about 10 boxes to get rows of troops like that. looks very cool nice work Fubar

This and the previous two photos I posted today, one each in the arnhem and bulge dio threads, are all the result of me playing with a programme I have had for ages but never played around with.

It is called photostitch and these three photos are all two pictures merged into one - fun!:)

This one is dedicated to Bob - UKReb - and Tim Tyler.

I love that cabin shot Panda! It looks great!

Yep, at least 10 boxes worth of Austrians. I wanted to change all the helmet heads to Shako versions but I got lazy.
We have Austrians, Prussians and Russians all converging on some unfortunate French and their German and Polish allies.
Would like to play a wargame with it with more units coming in but again, too lazy and solo gaming sucks.
Nice Berlin diorama, real gritty and I like all the ZULU"S too!

You guys see the new Conte Zulus are up on their website?!

I'll have to get the new Britians and Conte Zulus.Another 20 fig warband .Just what I need.{?}

Yes , they are Helemet plastic kits on Italeri Mounts.
I converted timpo, cts and Helmet kits and grind off the italeri horse furniture, replace it with correst saddle ect.
Doig the same thing to some tssd horses for russian chassuers, dragoons and lancers.

Cool pics Nothing beats a good Napoleonic cav charge and lots off plastics too :D some nasty Russian Cossacks would be good to roam around and poke any stragglers

Great Job Fubar. I really like looking at the Napoleonic pics. Thanks for posting the pics.

Didn't the orcs have plumes in this campaign?

Hello Fellas,
Since I've finished the "Blitz" i've started the diorama base and figures. Here's a bit of a "sneak peek".

Added a camo. net made of gauze bandage:
attachment.php

Put together a hand-made stone wall constructed from drywall joint compound mixed with Ochre paint, dried and broken into "rocks".
attachment.php

Added vegetation made from theatrical crepe' hair and woodland scenics 'tall grass' product.
attachment.php

Sign is made from balsa wood and anchored with 'rocks' that were made in the aformentioned manner.
attachment.php

Celluclay was mixed with acrylic paint and white glue, spread onto base and around vegetation previously affixed. Rocks added while celluclay was still wet.
attachment.php

Hope ya'll enjoy these shots, more to come when it's done.
