Burns night with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.

Yo Troopers, think these Pipers are playing the last post lol, for the poor guys that have to eat the Haggis the Chef is serving up, they sound really disgusting things to eat:eek: Takes me back to the Army days when we were on a training area with the Tanks. We had to eat out of tins called Compo rations and one tin in particular was called Mutton Scots style, it was the most disgusting stuff you ever ate in your life (no joking) we used to collect all the tins of it and take it over to the German farmers he would swap it for eggs, and gave the tins to the pigs to eat, now does that tell the story lol.
Bernard.

Bernard,
The chef is posted to the Officers Quarters. They eat different than the groundpounder. They don't need a knife to open the vac-pack meal! Well, at least if you make Captain!:(

As you can see I became bored again and found an old photo of Colour-Sergent that was taken back in 1879 in front of the Mission Station at Rorke's Drift....The Lt.

Conte Beau Geste Fort Zinderneuf and assorted plastics sitting around for years unpainted and unloved. Finally got them out. Glad thats over. The fort is the biggest single building I have painted and is simply BIGGGGGGGG.
They are all Plastic, Conte, Armies in Plastic, Timpo and Britains DSG recasts. I didnt bother putting any paint on those as they come with an adequate factory paint job.
Still have a few 1/2 started figs here and there but I'm calling it done.
Still bored.

Cleared off the wargame table just to set out the terrain and troops so I could see what it all looked like together.
Angry Sons of the Desert are chasing a Platoon of FFL back into their fort. No Casbah for you tonite!

Great Diorama, thank you for digging them out and osting them.

FFL figures are great, I wish more companies would make them.

Once again Fubar it's nice seeing you bored and entertaining us in a grand scale for sharing it with us. I'm sure you may have seen the new FFL figures from Conte if not give me a moment and I post them editing this post...The Lt.
