Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (2 Viewers)

Another “Blast from the past”; here’s a small vignette I put together on my office desk in 2014.

I whipped it up in about 15 minutes with the materials, figures and vehicle at hand.

It was loads of fun and it remained on my desk for about a month.

It was a real stress releaser at coffee breaks by me moving a piece just slightly as my mode dictated.

The American GI’s and jeep were made by Figarti and the German MG42 emplacement by Thomas Gunn.

Almost all of the diorama pieces including the the building and place mat were made by Build A Rama.

Guess who made the tank?

Thank you Louis and Mike!

Here are some more pictures of past dioramas.

Notice the wide variety of figures used: King & Country, Britains, Collectors Showcase and if you look hard enough you'll spot Conte.

The diorama materials used were from Britains, First Legion, Lemax mat (mixed with Briatains dio materials). Guess where the background is from?

Thanks for viewing,

Carlos

Carlos...you're kicking butt and taking names...outstanding display...I didn't even know you collected any Civil War...

Give that man a cigar. Great guess and you're right Jake.

It's one beautiful model! I actually just ordered one of those tanks yesterday to paint and modify to add to a diorama I'm currently building.^&grin

I know Ken and Erika are incredibly busy running Britians, but I hope one day we might see stowage kits and sandbags sold at H&A. They make some incredible and beautiful dioramas and have been a huge inspiration for my own dioramas.

Speaking of dioramas and since it's night here in the eastern United States, here's some dioramas I've been working on!
:salute::

Hey Guys,

It’s me again. I wanted to share these pictures of the WWII Pacific display I did 8 years ago before the recent King & Country huge releases some 3 years ago.

I used mostly King & County, Figarti and some customized Britains figures repainted by Build A Rama. I love that Japanese Pill Box by King and Country.

How about the rest of materials used this diorama? Nice huh, they’re mostly all by Build A Rama. They also, modified a tank too, can you spot it?

I hope you enjoy as much

I built this diorama some 8 years ago depicting the Iraqi War.

Most all the vehicles and armor were manufactured by Figarti Miniatures except one vehicle made by Force of Valor; can you spot it?

The figures are mostly Figarti with some King & Country and a few Force of Valor.

There is one customized vehicle you can’t find anywhere. Can you find it?

WWII Diorama I originally created in 2016.

I displayed it in a curio cabinet, so please forgive the glare, reflections, and bad lighting.

Most of the buildings, rubble, and other diorama materials were from Build A Rama.

There is some loose ruble from Hudson & Allen and the cobblestone street base was JG Miniatures.

Now, can you guess who made all of the figures and vehicles.

Only the truck is 1/32 scale but everything else is 1/30 scale.
