Panda, the winter 88 is 21st Century painted white and crewed by the KC figures. The Sherman is the KC Easy Eight repainted for winter action.

Thanks,
Brian

My Adjutant might look a little closer... There is another

Your right panda1gen I do need the practice at keeping bored but my first enjoyment of the day along side of having my first cup of coffe is watching the events that are tking place at Arhem, The Bluge and on the Cornfields of Antietam. Oh such a boring life......The Lt.

Brian,
Great to see pictures of your superb work; as far as I'm concerned, you are the first to make dioramas, you were WAY ahead of the curve, remember seeing them at OTSN that one year and how much they inspired me.........................

I,m bored also, Here are some new Britains light infantry and some of Fubars new grenadiers on the march through some scenic country side!

That is cool! I had a hard time finding where the foreground and background meet.

Sheesh, if this is boredom then I'll have a very large slice thank you very much. Brilliant photos on this thread - thanks to every contributor for sharing them.

Cheers
H

I also love being this bored :D - Fubar, superb pics and backdrop, agree with the comments above. Thanks for posting.:):D

Awesome diorama Fishhead! The only piece of constructive criticism I would give is you should have white washed the walls on the diorama to match the stone walls on the backdrop, then it would have been virtually impossible to tell where the diorama ended and the backdrop began.

Fishead.....wow that is really something...I too love the use of the backdrop! Excellent work!

George...Thanks my friend...I remember when a certain dealer told me that dio's have very limited appeal and that most people would not be interested in them...boy was he wrong eh?

Carlos...thanks! You don’t see Iwo Jima dios often so I'm really glad I made one for my Marines. Made sure to recreate the black sand, rocky terrain and even included a cave.....I think it turned out nice and really shows off the figures well.

Warbuff26:

Frankly, it's those pieces (black, terrain and the cave) that make the scene authentic for me.

I wish the Pacific was more attractive to collectors and commercially viable for manufacturers. Imagine the themes that could be done. Oh well, gigantic armor battles rule and Pacific had everything but that compared to Europe and North Africa.

Enough with my commentary, nice job again Warbuff26,

Carlos

Meanwhile on the Eastern Front...Comrade Stalin's troops take advantage of the newly fallen snow to launch a counter attack with T-34's and infantry. They are led bravely from the rear by a pistol packing officer! No Retreat!
