Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL (6 Viewers)

You do terrific work with dioramas, so I am not at all surprised that did such a nice job with making your broken model look like a burned out battle relic. I was a decent modeler when I was a kid, but the only modeling I've done in recent memory was putting an Honour Bound Gold Tiger that arrived in about twenty pieces. Here are some before and after photos:

Louis,

You did great work of repairing your HB gold Tiger!! And might I add that I’m quite jealous of your HB collection. As one of the younger collectors in my early 30’s I missed out on HB. I’ve luckily acquired a Panther, amphibious jeep, and field kitchen…but I will be on the hunt at Chicago this year.

And a big thank you also for your kind comments on my diorama bases! Ken Osen encouraged me to build some for sale for the Chicago Show this year. If you happen to make your way out, please make sure to swing by my room.

I really hope I can make it this year, and if I do, I would love to meet you in person.

Great shots, Kevin. It’s a shame no one has produced some more “duck hunter” camo GIs. I think the only other company than Figarti was ONTC when Ken was a still a partner.

Here’s some handmade palms that will be in a diorama that will be for sale in Chicago.

I recently acquired K & C USMC060 'Marine Officer with Camouflage Poncho', that's close to Duck Hunter camo I'd say, have displayed him next to the K & C Pacific Camo Sherman, looks great.
