I just moved into my new home 2 months ago (yes I am a first time homeowner).
Now I can finally unbox my soldiers and proudly invest in some nice display!
So happy!!!!!!

That's a really nice classy display!

Thanks for your comment!
I bought the big one on overstock.com.
It's actually made for cruiser ships but found it perfect for a Napoleonic Diorama.
The one on top is a brass display that I bought today at westelm

No, those are factory toys. Old stuf. Britains , Herald, Elastonlin, Timpo etc. Just toys. Some newer from Argentina. I don't think there's a drop of paint on any of them that I did.

Plastic Heaven, colorfull, gorgeous collection...and not easy to obtain!
well done Harold, its like watching a Ridley Scott film!

Never saw so many Britains' Wars of the Roses Swoppets in one place! Did you collect them when they came out in the sixties or on the after-market?
There is nothing like a mass Medieval battle for color, pageantry and action!

This is unbelievable !

Never seen so many of these knights on one place...when I opened this thread, I thought my eyes had gone bad.

I am sending the link to these pictures to my wife who thinks I have a lot of these knights...mine would not make a dent in this display.

Love the Herald knights, my favourite, that I could play with, as a child.

Thank you so very much.

There are Crusaders ans Saracens too. Cannot field them all at once. I made boards to hold 12 foot or 4 mounted and used that tacky stuf to hold them on.
Rather overboard I think. I didn't realize I had so many. Pick them up at bargain prices on ebay. Sometimes a bit too much but overall, very inexpensive, and no painting.
Took a couple years but I rebuilt a collection I sold off and always regretted.
Have several castles, village buildings and all manner of Siege engines too for another day.

Hi Took some time off this week end to rearrange my sets cabinet and guess a few pics are due.....cheers A_C {sm4} some WW1 German fron line troops........1914....Somme and the drive to the sea....
