Hi Wayne
The tracks are the same widthe so it should go.
I suspect that the K5 would probably have 2 locos front and back to haul it.
Not sure whether the BR52 would be the right engine but I'm sure someone out there would know.
I'll see if I can concoct a photo shoot when the BR52 comes in.

Wayne,
Here's some photos of the K5 with the BR52 Loco.
I got the loco yesterday in time for the London Show next week.
I was going to set this up outside so I had better scenery but as it was -5deg C I thought better of it and "borrowed" the Breakfast room table.

Not easy to get all this in even with a wide angle.
I was in the boiler cupboard at one stage but at least it gives you an idea of how it could look.
By the way the whole thing measures a rather impressive 6ft 4ins in length.

Looks pretty cool Clive.

Any idea when the Karl Morser is going to be on its way?

Have a good show next week :)

Ooooh, looks nice. Going to just have to settle for the choo choo though.

Wow, that is one cool 6 feet of track! I hope we are all happy with the Morser!

Wow !
May be a silly question, but could a single locomotive haul that sized gun ?

From what I have been able to find out the Locomotive was capable of pulling 4000 tonnes and the gun only weighed 218tonnes. So I would say yes.

Very impressive. I wish I had the money and the space for such a display.

Thanks Britfarmer, for some reason, I'd have thought the gun and carriage was a lot heavier-Appreciate the research.

And Wayne, I'll be lucky if I can sneak (let alone afford) ONE Locomotive into my bookcase...;).
