Re: BR-52 Locamotives Have Arrived

Did Matt say when the Mauser is due?

Re: BR-52 Locamotives Have Arrived

I got the locomotive and three cars in time for Christmas from Clive in Great Britain. My son Alec's train is all set up, and I am having a shelf put up high on the wall in his room to display it.

I presume its the same for US customers but, I know they are being shipped by sea for UK customers which, means a delay in getting them I believe late Jan early feb might be similar for you guys. To keep shipping down further

Got mine at the beginning of December from Clive.
Just haven't figured a way of displaying it so the wife doesn't notice it. Any suggestions?

Here's a few Simon:-

How about pink camouflage and hide it in amongst your daughters soldiers. :D

Or you could have Jeff paint it green and put in the back garden.

Ship it to me and I will display it for you, you can visit it, write and call as often as you wish.

Set it up in the bedroom as a first part of a complex tea making machine. Wallace and Grommet will be along shortly to finish the job?

Pictures?

Here are the photos from Louis. This looks tremendous to say the least. First, the locomotive.

Some of the cars. If you want to send me photos of the other cars, just send 'em on Louis :)

I just got mine today along with the 2 new flat cars.....I had the same though you did Wraith....so I put them in the basement. then the wife asked me why did Matt called you today, "what did he want" ...:eek:

So I say..."I picked up something I ordered a long time ago"...

After about a hour....I say to here....I bought a BIG model of a locamotive today...the only thing is, it don't move..but if it did..a locamotive that size would cost thousands..." I could'nt afford that though " .;)....She didn't say a word...:) :D

Try it, Wraith....

On another note....Matt told me this round of Locamotives are packed more sturdy than the first ones....So there should be a no problem with breakage..:)

He said the Karl's should be here in a couple more months..

I have the same problem, as Jbonzo1 says I think some clever kind of tunnel camouflage is in order.
